The Alliance “Suits us all” consists of migrant and racism-critical interest groups and self-organizations. Miman Jasarovski, who like so many was born in Germany but has no German citizenship, initiated the alliance together with Olga Gerstenberger and further activists from the initiative “With Wings and Roots”.

We have jointly formulated the demands of the campaign:
📣 the removal of all restrictions
📣 Every child that is born here should get a German passport!
📣 multiple nationalities
📣 unbureaucratic & free of charge naturalization after 3 years
📣 Voting rights for all

Want to share your own story to the With Wings and Roots + From Here Platforms? We highlight lived experiences with migration and citizenship, people’s exploration of their own wings and roots, and perspectives on what it means to claim belonging.

We offer screenings and discussions, participatory workshops, and a range of event formats for young people and adults. Bring us to your community!

This work is possible due to many people giving their time. We welcome collaboration with mediamakers, educators, scholars, designers, students, activists, translators, digital campaigners, developers…you name it! Please reach out if you are interested to get involved.

We use our Blog and social media to share stories, reflections, forgotten histories, upcoming events, the work of partners and community members, and inspiration in our efforts stand for a culture of belonging. Join us there to help grow our conversations about how we might reimagine migration, citizenship, belonging, advance racial equity, and build a future for all of us.
